Location: Doha, Qatar (100% Onshore)
Contract Type: Long-Term Contract
Work Schedule: 6 Days per Week
Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lessons Learned Lead to facilitate the identification, collection, dissemination, and implementation of lessons learned across major Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring valuable project learnings are captured, standardized, and shared effectively to optimize performance across current and future projects.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and ensure compliance with Corporate Lessons Learned procedures across Project Management Teams (PMTs).
- Develop and maintain standardized Lessons Learned Plans, templates, and registers.
- Facilitate Lessons Learned workshops at key project governance stages.
- Review, standardize, and improve lessons captured to ensure clarity and future applicability.
- Advise PMTs and Operations teams on critical lessons to support project execution and operational excellence.
- Track, review, and report Lessons Learned status through monthly reporting processes.
- Manage and enhance the Lessons Learned library, dashboards, and tracking systems.
- Deliver training and guidance to PMT personnel on Lessons Learned processes and requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across major project portfolios.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
Experience- Minimum 8 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience across multiple project functions such as:
- Project Management
- Engineering
- Construction
- Procurement
- Commissioning
- At least 1 year in a supervisory, lead, or oversight role.
- Experience working with Operators, EPC Contractors, Vendors, and Service Companies.
- Experience with LNG facilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Project Gating Systems
- Project Execution Planning
- Risk Management
- Change Management
- Commissioning & Handover Processes
- International Engineering Standards & Specifications
- Lessons Learned Programs & Knowledge Management
- Microsoft Office Suite
