We are looking for an Instrument & Electrical Reliability Technician to perform condition monitoring and inspection of I&E equipment and support Reliability Engineers in improving equipment reliability, failure analysis and compliance.
What we're looking forQualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering Technology.
- 3-5 years as an Instrument Technician in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas.
- Senior technician experience in Petrochemical/Oil & Gas is preferred.
- Hands-on field instrumentation maintenance in a large-scale process plant.
- Experience with SMART transmitters, Fieldbus, 4-20mA, HART, control valves, vibration transducers, analysers, custody metering and PLCs.
- Strong troubleshooting using P&IDs, loop drawings, data sheets and JB layouts.
- Experience developing ITPM plans and job instructions.
- SAP or another Maintenance Management System experience preferred.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards.
- Ability to supervise contractors when required and work independently using Microsoft Office.
- Condition monitoring and inspection of Instrument & Electrical field equipment.
- SMART transmitters, Fieldbus, 4-20mA, HART, control valves, vibration transducers and online analysers.
- Ability to read P&IDs, instrument loop drawings, data sheets and JB layouts.
- Reliability improvement, failure analysis, maintenance procedures and ITPM/checklist reviews.
- Hazardous-area classification and appropriate instrument selection.
- Calibration of test equipment and accurate reliability records, drawings and reports.
- Sap/ECM equipment data, spares management and maintenance-management systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, planning, coordination and safe-work practices.
