Must have 4-5 years of experience in a similar role
Requirement- Suspend activities that pose threats to workers health and safety
- Recommend protective measures against hazardous work methods processes or materials
- Investigate workplace accidents to identify causes and prevent recurrence
- Assess ventilation exhaust systems lighting and other environmental factors affecting health and performance
- Develop and maintain hygiene programs
- Inspect and evaluate workplace environments equipment and practices for compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with the Project Engineer to implement control remedial measures for hazardous conditions or equipment
- Conduct safety training and education programs demonstrate proper use of safety equipment
- Provide health and safety orientations for new employees prepare relevant materials
- Collect samples of dust gases vapors and other toxic substances for analysis
Education:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC/MENA region.
- Bachelor s Degree OR Technical Diploma (3-year course) in a relevant engineering field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification.
- Certification in one of the following: IOSH Managing Safety, OSHA 30 Hours, or a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from an accredited institution.
- Valid and current First Aid Certification.
