Job description
Key Result Areas:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement projects related to Al Shaqab facilities in line with operational requirements
- Assist in preparing project specifications, scopes of work, and technical requirements
- Monitor and manage project execution to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Coordinate with in-house teams and contractors to deliver civil, electrical, mechanical, and utilities projects
- Support the development and delivery of major projects, including cost estimation and scheduling
- Assist in reviewing technical drawings, proposals, and plans to ensure alignment with operational needs
- Track project progress and prepare regular reports for the Head of Operations & Maintenance
- Identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during project activities
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer and other departments to minimize operational disruption during projects
- Support procurement processes by preparing technical inputs and reviewing vendor submissions
- Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning of completed works
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and contractors as needed
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience, Proficient in project management
- Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills with experience leading, mentoring, and supporting teams
- Excellent program-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage competing demands
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent spoken English skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely;
Arabic proficiency is an advantage - Proficiency in MS Office applications
