Job Description & How to Apply Below
- Testing & Commissioning: Execute testing, pre-commissioning, functional verification, energization, and handover of LV/MV Switchgear, protection relays, control circuits, metering, and interlocks.
- Documentation & Review: Review technical drawings, schematics, test procedures, and commissioning documentation. Prepare accurate test reports, punch lists, and handover records.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose technical issues on-site and implement swift, corrective solutions.
- Safety & Quality: Strictly adhere to safety standards, LMRA, PTW protocols, and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with clients, site teams, and project managers throughout project execution.
- Education: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in LV & MV switch gear testing and commissioning.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong knowledge of protection relays, secondary injection testing, and standard commissioning procedures. - Communication: Excellent verbal/written communication and report-writing skills.
- Kahramaa (KM) Approved SWGR Testing & Commissioning Engineer status.
- Proven experience with Siemens switch gear and protection systems
. - Hands-on experience within KM Distribution Substations and live network project
