Role OverviewReson8 is hiring experienced Event Project Managers to support upcoming event projects in Qatar and Saudi Arabia from September to December 2026

The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing live events, exhibitions, corporate shows, conferences, activations, and technical event productions. This role requires someone who can lead projects from planning to execution while coordinating closely with clients, vendors, technical teams, crew bosses, team leads, and site operations teams.
The Project Manager must have a good understanding of lighting, sound, video, rigging, staging, scenic, fabrication, logistics, and event risk management
. The role requires clear communication, strong site leadership, quick decision-making, and the ability to solve problems in a fast‑paced event environment.
- Manage event projects from planning, pre‑production, build‑up, rehearsal, show days, and dismantle
- Understand the project scope, technical requirements, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations
- Prepare and manage project schedules, manpower plans, task lists, production trackers, and daily site reports
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, vendors, venue teams, contractors, and internal production teams
- Track project progress and ensure all departments are aligned with the approved timeline
- Support procurement, vendor follow‑ups, logistics planning, crew deployment, and site readiness
- Manage event logistics, including crew movement, equipment delivery, transport schedules, loading and unloading plans, venue access, storage areas, permits, passes, accommodation coordination, and on‑site material movement to ensure smooth project execution
- Work closely with technical leads across lighting, sound, video, rigging, staging, scenic, fabrication, power, and show operations
- Understand basic technical requirements for AV systems, lighting plots, speaker placement, rigging points, LED screens, projection, truss structures, and stage layouts
- Review technical drawings, production layouts, build plans, and site execution documents
- Ensure all technical teams have the required information, access, approvals, tools, and manpower to complete their work
- Identify clashes between departments and resolve coordination issues before they impact delivery
- Lead site execution and act as the main point of coordination between production, technical, vendor, and client teams
- Clearly assign work to team leads, crew bosses, supervisors, technicians, and site crew
- Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, task reviews, and end‑of‑day progress checks
- Ensure each department understands its responsibilities, deadlines, and reporting structure
- Monitor crew productivity, site discipline, safety compliance, and quality of work
- Escalate issues early and ensure decisions are made quickly and clearly
- Identify project risks related to schedule, manpower, technical delivery, rigging, power, weather, venue limitations, vendor delays, and client changes
- Maintain a live risk register or issue tracker during planning and execution
- Coordinate with safety officers, rigging leads, production leads, and venue teams to ensure safe working practices
- Support risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, emergency planning, and incident reporting
- Ensure build‑up, rehearsal, show days, and dismantle are carried out safely and professionally
- Make practical decisions on‑site to reduce risk and protect the project timeline
- Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, team leads, crew bosses, and internal management
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, delays, manpower, and pending actions
- Prepare daily progress reports, issue logs, handover notes, and show‑day updates
- Communicate changes clearly and ensure all affected departments are informed
- Manage pressure professionally and remain calm during high‑stress event situations
