The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for Qatari nationals to join EY Qatar’s growing Tax practice within International Tax & Transaction Services (ITTS), Indirect Tax (IDT), or Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR). You will play a key role in supporting complex tax matters, advising leading businesses in Qatar, and contributing to major national initiatives. As part of our experienced-hire team, you will gain exposure to high-impact projects and develop deep tax technical expertise.

• Provide high-quality tax advisory, compliance, and reporting support to clients across ITTS, IDT, or GCR service lines.
• Manage day-to-day client engagements, prepare technical deliverables, and assist senior team members with tax analysis and communication.
• Contribute to project planning, research emerging tax issues, and ensure accurate, timely execution of tax assignments.

• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex tax and financial information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric and collaborative approach.

• Qatari national with 2+ years of relevant tax experience in ITTS, Indirect Tax, Corporate Tax, or Tax Compliance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, Economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of GCC tax frameworks (corporate tax and / or VAT).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.

• Progress toward a professional qualification (ADIT, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar).
• Experience working with multinational clients or on cross-border projects.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems for tax compliance and reporting.
