Tax Compliance and Reporting:
Manage and ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and filing of all corporate tax returns, including federal, state, and local tax filings. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Tax Planning and Strategy:
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and maximize tax benefits. Analyze tax implications of business decisions and provide guidance to management.
Tax Research and Interpretation:
Stay updated with changes in tax laws, regulations, and rulings. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide guidance on their implications for the company.
Risk Management:
Identify potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Tax Audit Support:
Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities. Coordinate responses, gather required documentation, and represent the company in discussions with tax authorities.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
Extensive experience in corporate tax, including managerial or supervisory roles.
Should have Qatar local exp.
Strong knowledge of corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
