JobPurpose Summary
The incumbent will oversee the Dividend and IPO Processing unit, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of dividends and managing IPO subscription processes. The role involves enhancing the IPO processing system and improving dividend distribution for non‑Qatari shareholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities By Dimensions- Shareholder & Financial
- Assist in creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the unit and monitor achievement.
- Implement KPIs and best practices.
- Act within delegated powers, delegating authority to staff and monitoring its exercise.
- Understand factors influencing bank performance.
- Promote cost‑consciousness, efficiency, and productivity.
- Customer (Internal & External)
- Develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments to improve turnaround time.
- Liaise with counterpart banks and corporate customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with related departments.
- Provide timely and accurate information to auditors and compliance.
- Assist customers with queries on bank products and provide solutions.
- Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory)
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations during dividend and IPO processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all transactions within SLA.
- Maintain shareholder unit files in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with banks participating in the IPO process.
- Supervise IPO subscription applications, ensuring KYC and AML compliance.
- Participate in marketing QNB services to listed corporate customers.
- Continuous Improvement
- Lead improvement initiatives through cross‑functional teams.
- Encourage adoption of better practices and innovative ideas.
- Recognise and reward innovative contributions.
- Bachelor degree (University Graduate) preferred in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
