Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the integrity of accounting information. This role involves analyzing financial information,preparing accurate and timely financial reports, and supporting in all the financial processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain, review andreconcile the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Record journal entries for the accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation and other financialtransactions.
• Assist in the month endand year end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and reviewfinancial statement reports and supporting schedules for internal use and external audits
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
• Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor cash flow,ensuring proper fund allocation for operations and other payables.
• Conduct detailed accountanalysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Work closely with the Accounts Manager in preparing financial reports and strategic analysis

• Masters degreein
  
  Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years ofprogressive experience in accounting or finance roles within a corporate environment.
• Experience with ERPsystems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and recommendactionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability towork collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with ahigh level of accuracy, ensuring all financial reports are error-free.
