Job DescriptionLeads the development and maintenance of a suite of standardized management reports and Power BI dashboards that provide a consolidated view of company-wide financial performance.
- Prepares and consolidates all necessary SAP entries and supporting documentation for the monthly closure, including invoices, accruals, and cost allocations, ensuring data integrity for reporting.
- Collects, organizes, and validates company-wide financial information, such as the value of work done and cost allocation drivers, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of management reporting.
- Prepares and presents the consolidated monthly cost report, providing comprehensive variance analysis compared to forecast and budget, with clear and insightful visualizations in Power BI.
- Develops and promotes a consistent methodology for cost control and reporting across the entire organization, using SAP functionality and Power BI to enforce best practices.
- Enhances and maintains the overall SAP reporting structure and master data to improve the accuracy and efficiency of reporting.
- Designs, develops, and deploys Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data from SAP, providing real‑time insights into spending, budget adherence, and other key cost metrics.
- Ensures consistent application of the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process and Delegation of Authority (DOA) rules across the entire company through the development of automated tracking and reporting.
- Responds to audit queries and exceptions by providing reliable, system‑based data and reports, leveraging SAP and Power BI for data verification.
Minimum 8 years of related experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas upstream industry.
- Degree level in Accounting, Finance, or a business‑related discipline.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with SAP, including deep knowledge of data extraction, reporting structures (e.g., BW/4
HANA), and data flow for cost‑related modules. - Expert‑level technical skills in Power BI, including data modelling (DAX), report development, and dashboard design.
- Expert analytical skills in Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation for reporting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and financial processes (Cost allocations, Accruals).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical data into clear, actionable insights for senior management.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong collaboration, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
