Job Description

Job Summary: Senior Financial Analyst responsible for the development and maintenance of planning and budgeting/forecasting; analyse trends, recommend actions. Maximise return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. Monitoring year‑end closing procedures to issue yearly audited financial statements, reviewing accrued expenses monthly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in‑depth financial analysis, including financial modelling, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to assess business performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and forecast financial outcomes.
  • Conduct financial reviews and audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (finance, operations, sales) to gather data, assess performance and develop actionable insights.
  • Present financial analysis findings and recommendations to senior management, board members and stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial expertise, analysing trends and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior financial analysts.
  • Stay current on industry trends, financial regulations and best practices in financial analysis.

Job Knowledge &

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques (financial modelling, ratio analysis, valuation).
  • Strong quantitative skills for scenario analysis and drawing insights from financial reports.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (Excel, financial modelling software, data visualisation tools).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • ERP knowledge and preferably SAP functional skills.

Job

Experience:

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
