DescriptionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

- Ensures that financial issues within the company is adequately handled without any undue delays.
- To ensure that financial and administrative issues within the company is adequately handled without any undue delays.
- Ensures that finance and accounting systems are set up for projects.
- Ensures that monthly reports are prepared and submitted to the Top Management.
- Preparation of the Cash Flow and Financial forecasts of the Company's funds and provides status, activity and performance reports to the Management.
- Prepare the Annual Budget and cash flow forecast and propose to the top management regarding the same.
- Ensures that Budgets are identified for year and verifies the adherence to the same.
- Ensures that bank relationships are well maintained.
- Liaisons with External and internal Auditors to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate and work with tax audits and tax returns when required.
- Identifies the needs for any new financial decisions and proposes to the top management regarding the same.
- Reviews and approves Purchase Orders.
- Coordinate with other departments for invoicing, collection, and work progress.
- Supervising the daily activities of the accounting unit.
- To measure and analyze potential opportunities versus risks both internally and externally.
- To deliver valued support to internal business customers.
- To participate and deliver project objectives, when necessary.
- Lead in the installation of the ERP system and the Cost management system.
- Design, update and develop new systems and processes.
- To maintain financial system and amend to reflect business change.
- To continually monitor, develop and interpret appropriate and timely KPI's for the business.
- To develop close working relationships with internal customers to fully understand the business as well as establish a credible & effective network of contacts.
- To work with internal & external customers, to actively support and initiate teamwork to achieve the greater good.
- To identify, understand, embrace ACIFM's values and new ways of working in light of the changing work environment.
- Assist with the delivery of ACIFM objectives in line with 'Employer of Choice'.
- Service delivery:
Conduct contract review; plan and schedule workload; service delivery control and quality control. - Customer service:
Maintain proactive, dynamic and effective communication at all times; offer flexible and helpful service to sub-contractors. - Health & Safety:
Promote and maintain awareness and compliance of health and safety in accordance with best practice. - Operational performance:
Ensure to monitor and manage service delivery key performance indicators; develop & implement operational improvements; develop a high-performance workforce.
Educational Qualification required:
University Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Math, Business Administration, or a related field.
Number of years of experience required:
Minimum 15 years' experience with more than three years of general accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment. GCC experience is a plus.
Specialized training required (if any):
Training related to Financial and Administrative related activities would be beneficial. ERP Accounting System, Communication, Teamwork, Time management, Problem-solving, Report Writing Skills, Critical thinking, Adaptability, Creativity.
