Job Summary

The incumbent will be primarily responsible for providing effective support to the SME Sales team. The key role includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Proactively assisting in managing & developing existing & new relationships within the delegated authority and in accordance with QNB credit policies and procedures.
  • Closely working with senior team members to develop and expand the bank's corporate business from existing corporate customers and new relationships in line with the bank's strategy.
  • Assisting in the preparation of credit proposals, starting from the negotiation stage with customers until limit booking.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the accounts.
Main Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with all other related departments and sections to ensure timely processing and resolution of the needs/queries of the SME customer base, thereby facilitating the achievement of the Group’s goals and objectives.
  • Assist in servicing the needs/queries of customers under the team's portfolio.
  • Liaise with customers for their day‑to‑day banking requirements.
  • Ensure customers are well informed of their facilities and other matters.
  • Assist customers in all their queries on the bank’s products and seek solutions to their requests.
  • Maintain activities in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments/units to achieve improvements in turnaround time.
  • Provide timely and accurate data to external/internal auditors, compliance, financial control and risk when required.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • University graduate (Bachelor) preferably with a major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (including report writing) in English and Arabic.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Ability to make decisions and follow through with initiatives.
  • Personal integrity and self‑management.
  • Planning, organising, and analytical ability.
  • Results‑oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of management.
  • Good track record in sales and client service.
  • Awareness of risk management concepts and practices.
  • Good knowledge of SME banking products.
