Job Description
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar’s financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing requirements, including coordination with external auditors.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and KPIs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial processes to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support business planning initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for senior management and board members.
- Stay abreast of evolving financial regulations, industry trends, and technological advancements in financial systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or ACCA qualification is highly preferred.
- 2–5 years of progressive experience in financial management within the Financial Services industry.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance in a Qatari or GCC-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, Qatari tax regulations, and local financial reporting standards.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities with a track record of developing talent.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Fluency in English;
Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage. - Willingness to travel within the GCC region as required.
