Finance Manager – FMCG/Bottled Water Industry
About the Role
Almas Water, a leading bottled drinking water manufacturer and distributor in Qatar, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong exposure to the water, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing industry
.
This role is critical in strengthening financial control, cost management, and strategic decision-making as the company scales operations.
The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management, production, and operations teams to ensure financial discipline, accurate reporting, and sustainable profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including accounting, budgeting, and reporting
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow statements
- Control production costing, COGS, and margin analysis for 5-gallon and PET operations
- Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory valuation
- Implement and strengthen internal controls and SOPs
- Support management with financial analysis, forecasts, and strategic insights
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities in Qatar
- Ensure compliance with local tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
- Drive ERP-based financial reporting and automation initiatives
Minimum 8–12 years of finance experience in FMCG / bottled water / beverage manufacturing
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, production costing, and inventory control
Proven experience in P&L management and cash-flow planning
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (ERPNext, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work closely with operations and production teams
Experience in Qatar or GCC market preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
