Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for the functioning of all work related to the letter of Guarantees.
Key Accountabilities- Authorise Trade transaction as per RBAC rights provided by the management.
- Supervise all day-to-day activities related to letters of Guarantees.
- Approve issuance of letters of Guarantees, amendments, claims, expiries, and cancellations.
- Check if action taken on Claim outstanding reports.
- Track Guarantee commission pending as per diary report under QCB/FCY Nostro sheet.
- Check swifts received are attended and responded.
- EOD report reconciliation.
- Follow-up with FI for pricing on counter guarantee issuances.
- Circulation of reports from time to time as per schedule.
- Updating of aborted transaction report
- TI interface report check and correction
- Ensure documents are moved in EDMS.
- Nacked swifts to be cleared at EOD
- Suspense and Nostro accounts clearance.
- Month end Balancing report circulation.
- Ensure transaction processed with approved pricing.
- Referral tracking.
- Resolving Customer query and providing expert advice on transaction.
- Vetting any counter guarantee formats shared by FI unit.
- Tracking timely deliverables of banks and customer.
- Tracking of processed transaction filling and archival wherever required as per process.
- AML/KYC guidelines adherence in team.
Perform any other related tasks assigned by superiors of the unit management.
Qualifications, Experience Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree is required, CDCS, Excel and Presentation skills.
- 7 to 10 years of banking experience is required in Trade Finance
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Ability to interact with internal business units and external customers in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Computer and MS office skills.
- Fluent English is required.
- Arabic language is a plus
- Knowledge of banking processes and back-office support is a plus.
- Knowledge of the banking sector in Qatar and the region is a plus.
- Ability to handle team.
- Ability to train staff on Trade products.
