Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Financial Institutions and strengthening correspondent banking relationships by fostering new correspondent banking alliances; the incumbent will ensure the extension of the Group’s reach to the different geographical areas of the world.

Main Responsibilities

Shareholder & Financial:

Assist in the implementation of the strategies and plans to achieve all volume, revenue, and profit targets. Support the SVP, FI & CB Relations in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the purpose of performance monitoring and quality measurement of the Financial Institutions Unit and monitor their achievements on periodic basis. Meet and exceed target budgets for new and existing Financial Institutions relationships comprising placements, borrowings and loan syndications, etc.,

Observes and promotes cost consciousness and efficiency, and enhance productivity, to minimize costs, avoid wastes, and optimize benefits for the bank Act within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent Implements KPI’s and best practices for Vice President, Financial Institutions and Correspondent Banking Relations role. Ensure provision of superior customer service through building lasting relationships with financial correspondents. Build and maintain strong and effective relationships between QNB Group and counter parties; hands on coordination between various QNB International branches and subsidiaries on global FI relationship;
Partner and coordinate with other divisions in the Bank and international branches and subsidiaries when recommending relationships with counter party banks and influencing them in enhancing their scope of business with QNB;
Assist the SVP, FI & CB Relations to develop and manage relationships with correspondent banks. Periodic travels to visit counter party banks internationally to market QNB as the Bank of Choice in Qatar and the Region and support international branches within their geographical areas;
Monitors the periodical P&L for the dept., for Nostro/Vostro, treasury related and other income and expenses directly linked with counter parties FIs from QNB Doha as well as the international branches;
