We are looking for a Treasury Accountant – Operations & Settlements to manage daily Treasury operations, bank positions, settlements, and approved fund transfers accurately and within strict banking deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily balances across multiple bank accounts and currencies
- Maintain daily bank and Treasury positions
- Prepare and execute approved inter-bank and inter-account transfers
- Monitor settlement obligations and ensure sufficient funding before cut-off times
- Track incoming/outgoing transfers and investigate outstanding transactions
- Monitor remittance and money-transfer settlement requirements
- Maintain transfer confirmations and supporting documentation
- Track value dates, bank cut-off times and settlement deadlines
- Follow maker-checker and authorization controls
- Escalate failed, delayed or unusual transactions
- Coordinate with Accounting on bank reconciliations and outstanding items
- Support daily fund position and liquidity forecasting
- Prepare accurate Treasury reports within tight deadlines
- Use Excel and Power BI for Treasury analysis, automation and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Treasury, Banking, Settlements or Payment Operations
- Experience in an Exchange House, Remittance Company, Bank or Regulated Financial Institution is strongly preferred
- Practical experience with bank transfers, settlements and multiple bank accounts
- Knowledge of multiple currencies, value dates, payment cut-offs and transaction controls
- Advanced Excel skills – Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, logical formulas, data validation and reconciliations
- Practical Power BI experience – data preparation, modelling, dashboards and reporting
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions with accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict daily deadlines
- Good English communication skill.
