The purpose of the role is to Manage and oversee all legal aspects of banking and finance activities of the Group safeguarding its position and ensuring compliance with any requirements.
Your impact on our goalsSpecialization on Contracts:
- Provide strategic leadership on banking and finance transactions, acting as the principal legal advisor and leading engagement with Group attorneys, senior stakeholders, and external counsel.
- Define, oversee, and govern the due diligence strategy and execution, ensuring legal, regulatory, and risk considerations are addressed at a Group level.
- Lead and approve the drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex banking and finance agreements and other critical legal documents, including term sheets, memoranda of understanding, and security documentation.
- Partner with Group Finance, Tax, and senior management to optimize financial, tax, and transactional structures in alignment with corporate strategy and risk appetite.
- Provide executive-level legal advice and recommendations to the Group on all legal aspects of banking and finance transactions, including risk mitigation and compliance.
- Oversee and contribute legal expertise across broader corporate and commercial matters beyond banking and finance, as required, supporting the overall objectives of the Legal function.

- Should have 15 years of experience in mortgage banking and have significant experience with the mortgage industry as well as other consumer financial products and services.
- Should be specializing in Finance Law.
- Must have commercial finance experience, including experience in lending transaction, secured loans, and banking matters is required such:
- Property Finance

- Islamic finance
- Strong academics and communication skills are also required
- University Degree in Law
- Bar membership in a Gulf Region
- state, EU country, or US
- Fluency in English essential; fluency in Arabic a plus
