What the role covers- Building proprietary deal flow through founder, operator, angel and co-investor networks — not intermediated processes
- Leading diligence end to end: commercial, financial, technical and reference work
- Valuation, structuring and leading term-sheet negotiation
- Authoring and defending investment memos at ICWorking hands-on with portfolio companies on senior hiring, GTM, follow-on rounds and exit preparation
- Mentoring junior investment staff and setting the standard on diligence quality
- 5–7 years across venture capital, growth equity or a comparable investing seat
- A track record of closed early-stage transactions — seed and Series A deals you led or co-led and can walk through line by line
- Evidence of proprietary origination: deals that came to the firm because of you
- MENA regional background strongly preferred;
Arabic a genuine advantage - Sharp judgement on founders and markets, and the writing ability to hold a position in a room of experienced investors
- Entrepreneurial and network-driven, comfortable operating without a large support layer
