Candidzone is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for an FMCG/Consumer Goods organization in Qatar. The ideal candidate must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and have strong financial leadership experience, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and long-term business planning.
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, and statutory financial statements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and liquidity.
- Monitor FMCG-specific financial areas, including inventory, distribution costs, trade promotions, pricing, and profit margins.
- Analyze product profitability, operating expenses, and overall business performance.
- Establish effective internal controls and risk-management systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Lead annual audits and manage relationships with banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Oversee treasury, financing, and banking activities.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
- Develop financial KPIs and performance dashboards for senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Support business expansion, investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide accurate and timely financial insights to the CEO and senior management.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Previous experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller, or in a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Strong FMCG industry knowledge, including distribution, inventory, pricing, margins, and trade promotions.
- Excellent expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial controls.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
