Finance Officer

Based in Doha, Qatar, provide full-cycle finance support to the Company's Abu Dhabi (UAE) entity and Middle East regional operations, covering bookkeeping, closing and reporting, treasury and bank account management, and local tax compliance, to ensure accurate, compliant and continuous financial operations.

• 1.Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for the Abu Dhabi entity, including voucher preparation and archiving.
• 2.Carry out month-end/year-end closing and prepare financial statements per Group requirements.
• 3.Handle daily receipts/payments and bank accounts, following the fund approval process strictly.
• 4.Reconcile AR/AP and other current accounts; track and clear historical balances and open items.
• 5.Manage UAE tax compliance (VAT, Corporate Tax), ensuring timely filing with zero late returns.
• 6.Support internal/external audits by preparing vouchers, ledgers and supporting documents.
• 7.Liaise with local banks, tax authorities, auditors and consultants.
• 8.Provide other regional finance support and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.

(list minimum education and/or years of experience required):

• 1.Shall have a bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 2.Shall have three (3) years' accounting experience, including overseas (Middle East preferred).
• 3.Shall be familiar with Chinese Accounting Standards and full-cycle entity accounting.
• 4.Knowledge of UAE/Qatar tax regulations and filing experience is preferred.
• 5.CPA / ACCA / CMA or Chinese Intermediate Accountant qualification is preferred.

• 1.Proficiency in English (written and spoken);
  Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage
• 2.Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
• 3.Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong integrity
• 4.Good communication skills and teamwork; adaptable to cross-cultural environments
• 5.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

The employment type for this position is third-party staffing. The employees shall enter into an employment contract via HR agency and provide services to COOEC.
