Planning Senior Consultant
We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Senior Consultant to lead strategic planning, governance, operational planning, and performance management initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide expert advisory support, drive planning transformation activities, and work closely with executive stakeholders within government or large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic and operational planning engagements across multiple business functions.
- Design and implement planning frameworks, governance structures, KPIs, and reporting models.
- Provide expert consulting and advisory support to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Oversee performance management, forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting activities.
- Support transformation programs, PMO initiatives, and organizational planning strategies.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities related to planning activities.
- Develop executive dashboards, presentations, and strategic reports for decision‑making.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure planning alignment.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and government regulations.
- Mentor junior consultants and support capability development within the planning function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, PMO, governance, or performance management.
- Strong consulting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced proficiency in reporting tools, dashboards, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage complex planning initiatives and executive‑level communications.
- Excellent presentation, leadership, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Mandatory local experience with government exposure.
- Arabic Speaker preferred/mandatory.
- Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
- Experience working with government entities, public‑sector organizations, or large transformation programs is highly preferred.
- PMP, PMI‑PBA, CBAP, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in planning, strategic planning, PMO, governance, or consulting roles.
- Proven experience leading planning engagements, KPI management, governance frameworks, and executive reporting initiatives.
- Strong background in government projects, transformation programs, and stakeholder management.
