Position Title:
Planning Senior Analyst / Specialist Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planning Senior Analyst / Specialist to support strategic planning, performance management, operational planning, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and coordination skills, with experience working on government or large-scale projects. The role requires the ability to manage planning activities, monitor KPIs, and provide strategic insights to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support strategic and operational planning activities.
- Develop and maintain planning frameworks, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures.
- Analyze business performance, forecasts, risks, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and planning documentation.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and planning deliverables.
- Support governance, policy implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and government regulations.
- Support management in decision-making through accurate planning insights and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in planning, reporting, performance management, or PMO-related functions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple planning activities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Mandatory local experience with government exposure.
- Arabic Speaker preferred/mandatory.
- Relevant professional certifications are preferred.
- Experience working with government entities or large transformation programs is highly preferred.
- PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certifications will be an advantage.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in planning, strategic planning, PMO, performance management, or operational planning.
- Experience in government, semi-government, or large enterprise environments is highly preferred.
- Proven experience handling reporting, KPI tracking, planning coordination, and executive reporting activities.
