Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) Cargo is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Shared Services team as a Government Relations Manager
, based in Doha, Qatar.

As a Government Relations Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between QAS Cargo and key government entities, regulatory authorities, and airport stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for managing strategic government relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting operational requirements, and facilitating the successful execution of government-related initiatives that contribute to the achievement of QAS Cargo's business objectives.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government entities, ministries, airport authorities, and regulatory stakeholders to support QAS Cargo's operational and strategic objectives.
• Act as the focal point for all government aviation requirements and ensure effective coordination between QAS Cargo and relevant authorities.
• Support the development and implementation of government relations strategies, policies, and initiatives that advance the interests of QAS Cargo.
• Coordinate with operational teams to ensure compliance with government regulations, aviation requirements, and airport authority standards.
• Lead discussions, negotiations, and dispute resolution activities with government stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Manage government-related projects and ensure operational concepts, processes, and contingency plans are aligned with regulatory and airport authority requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on government policies and aviation regulatory requirements impacting cargo operations.
• Contribute to the development of Qatari talent through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the department.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Previous experience managing Government requirements and regulatory oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with government officials and regulatory authorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and business requirements.
