We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Category Manager – Beauty Products to manage and grow the beauty and cosmetics category. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of beauty products, cosmetics, makeup techniques, skincare, beauty trends, and customer preferences

The candidate should understand different beauty and makeup products and their applications, with the ability to identify suitable products for different customer needs. The role will be responsible for category strategy, product selection, supplier management, pricing, promotions, inventory, and overall category profitability.

The candidate should understand different beauty and makeup products and their applications, with the ability to identify suitable products for different customer needs. The role will be responsible for category strategy, product selection, supplier management, pricing, promotions, inventory, and overall category profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Manage the complete beauty product category, including makeup, cosmetics, skincare, beauty tools, and related products
. - Maintain strong knowledge of beauty products, including product features, ingredients, usage, benefits, and suitable applications.
- Have a good understanding of makeup techniques and application
, including foundation, concealer, contouring, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and other makeup products. - Monitor current beauty and makeup trends
, new product launches, customer preferences, and competitor activities. - Identify new products and brands that can improve the category offering and meet customer demand.
- Evaluate product performance and make recommendations regarding product additions, replacements, pricing, promotions, and discontinuation.
- Work closely with suppliers and brands to negotiate pricing, promotions, commercial terms, and product availability.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, stock levels, sell-through, and inventory turnover.
- Analyze market and sales data to identify opportunities for category growth.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to maintain competitive pricing and product positioning.
- Support product training and knowledge development for sales teams where required.
- Work closely with visual merchandising teams to ensure effective product presentation and category visibility.
- Monitor customer feedback and use market insights to improve product assortment and customer experience.
- Prepare regular category performance reports and present recommendations to management.
