The all-inclusive monthly total salary of 11,300 QAR is structured as follows :

Full-time bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine

Must hold a valid home-country License as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar.

4+ Years experience in MPI Cardiac (Myo Cardial Perfusion Imaging) , Conventional Nuclear Medicine and PET CT Nuclear Medicine.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will deliver high-quality cardiac and oncologic imaging—spanning Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI), conventional nuclear medicine, and PET-CT—within a modern, JCI-accredited public health system.

You’ll ensure safe radiopharmaceutical use, robust image quality, and timely reporting support in collaboration with nuclear medicine physicians, cardiology, radiology, and medical physics.

• Perform and optimize cardiac MPI (rest / stress; treadmill & pharmacologic) with ECG gating, attenuation correction, and quantitative analysis.
• Conduct PET-CT studies (oncology / infection / inflammation) including patient prep (fasting / glucose), dose administration, acquisition, reconstruction, and SUV-based quantification.
• Carry out conventional NM procedures (e.g., bone, renal, hepatobiliary, thyroid / parathyroid, lung perfusion / ventilation, GI bleed, gastric emptying).
• Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely (dose drawing, assay, documentation) in line with ALARA and institutional policies.
• Operate and quality-check SPECT / CT and PET-CT systems : daily floods, energy peaking, uniformity / linearity checks, CT QC, and basic troubleshooting.
• Implement protocol optimization (collimator / energy window, acquisition timing, reconstruction, motion correction) to maintain diagnostic accuracy.
• Screen patients, obtain informed consent, establish IV access, monitor vitals, and manage stress agents (e.g., regadenoson / adenosine / dobutamine) per protocol and safety guidelines.
• Ensure accurate RIS / PACS / DICOM workflow, labeling, dose tracking, and timely transfer of studies; assist physicians with measurements and post-processing.
• Uphold radiation safety & infection control standards; conduct room / equipment decontamination and spill procedures per policy.
• Maintain consumables, radiopharmacy logs, controlled area records, and participate in audits, incident reporting, and continuous quality improvement.
• Support orientation / training for junior staff and students; contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and service development.
• Participate in shift / on-call rotations as required.
