The HSE & FIT Promoter will be responsible for promoting and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices across the shipyard and industrial operations. The role involves ensuring all employees adhere to safety standards, conducting awareness programs, and fostering a culture of safety and fitness at the workplace. The candidate should possess strong communication and leadership skills to influence positive behavioral change among workers and staff.

• Promote and implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines at all work locations.
• Conduct safety awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and training sessions to educate workers.
• Monitor work activities to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Support management in developing and maintaining safety documentation, reports, and audits.
• Encourage employee participation in safety and fitness (FIT) programs and monitor their effectiveness.
• Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure the safe execution of all operational tasks.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly to HSE officers or management.
• Participate in workplace inspections and safety meetings to promote proactive safety culture.
• Motivate employees to maintain good health, fitness, and overall well-being as part of workplace safety.

• Education:
  
  Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Certifications:
  
  NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE promotion within shipyard, industrial, or construction sectors.
• Gulf experience preferred.

• Excellent understanding of HSE procedures, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for conducting safety briefings and campaigns.
• Ability to influence and motivate employees toward safe and healthy work practices.
• Strong observation and reporting skills with attention to detail.
• Leadership qualities and teamwork approach in implementing safety standards.
• Basic English communication skills are required;
  Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
