Minimum RequirementsHiring Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES), Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), Registered Biokineticist, Registered Sport Rehabilitators
Overseas Hiring – Only candidates currently outside Qatar will be considered.
EducationFull‑Time Bachelor Degree in one of the following:
- Sport Science
- Exercise Science
- Physiotherapy
- Kinesiology
- Human Performance
And a Post Graduate Diploma / International Accredited Certificate in Exercise Physiology.
Minimum Experience4+ Years clinical experience in cardiovascular, pulmonary, or metabolic disorders.
Valid home-country license required – License to practice must cover the minimum required experience. Specification– Job Summary
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based exercise interventions for patients with chronic disease and complex health conditions. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary medical teams to design personalized treatment plans that enhance function, support recovery, and improve long-term health outcomes. This position maintains high clinical practice standards, contributes to research and service development, and provides clinical leadership and training to junior staff.
KeyAccountabilities
- Manage and treat patients referred for exercise intervention across a wide range of clinical conditions, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, orthopedic/musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, neoplastic, immunological, and hematological disorders.
- Develop clinical guidelines for exercise prescription tailored to specific patient groups and disease categories.
- Perform clinical exercise assessments including cardiopulmonary exercise testing, with accurate interpretation and application of results.
