About the job Radiography Protection Officer (RPO)
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe use of radiation equipment and compliance with radiation protection standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement radiation safety procedures.
- Train staff on safe handling of radiography equipment.
- Maintain radiation monitoring records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with Qatar MME, FANR, or equivalent authorities for licensing requirements.
- 3 to5 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) certification/license issued by Qatar MME / FANR or equivalent authority.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong technical and safety knowledge in radiation handling.
