Grade 112 | Total Monthly Salary: 16,400 QAR | Non-Negotiable

Education
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in a Healthcare-related field + an IT recognized certificate, OR
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology + a Health Management Certificate.
Experience
6 Years total healthcare experience, including at least 2 years in Clinical Information Systems.
Strong experience in operational activities within Clinical Information Systems / HIS.
Specification
The Nursing Informatics Coordinator supports the Director of Nursing Informatics – Operations by coordinating nursing operational activities related to the Clinical Information System (CIS).
The role ensures nursing requirements within CIS align with professional standards of clinical practice, and acts as a liaison between nursing/clinical teams and HIS/IT to translate workflows into technical requirements and support safe, effective system use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director of Nursing Informatics – Operations with planning, integrating resources, and achieving operational/strategic goals
- Coordinate and support nursing informatics projects, including planning, testing, implementation, and optimization of clinical systems
- Collaborate on the development, testing, and rollout of clinical computer applications and information systems
- Coordinate upgrades, enhancements, integration changes, and follow-up of system improvement requests
- Act as the link between clinical departments and HIS/IT—translate nursing workflows into system requirements and documentation needs
- Support end-users through training, communication, and post-implementation workflow adoption
- Provide consultative support to nursing staff on CIS use while promoting patient safety and confidentiality
- Assist with deployment of new IT clinical applications alongside project managers
- Support nursing reporting needs by contributing to report content/layout and ensuring required data/interfaces are available
- Participate in committees/task forces to ensure hospital information needs support clinical and professional activities
