Full-Time Bachelor Degree in one of the following:

• Sport Science
• Exercise Science
• Physiotherapy
• Kinesiology
• Human Performance

And a Post Graduate Diploma
/ International Accredited Certificate in Exercise Physiology

4+Years clinical experience in cardiovascular, pulmonary, or metabolic disorders.

License to practice must cover the minimum required experience.

Job Summary

The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for evaluating, developing, and delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based exercise interventions for patients with chronic disease and complex health conditions. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary medical teams to design personalized treatment plans that enhance function, support recovery, and improve long-term health outcomes. This position maintains high clinical practice standards, contributes to research and service development, and provides clinical leadership and training to junior staff.

• Manage and treat patients referred for exercise intervention across a wide range of clinical conditions, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, orthopedic/musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, neoplastic, immunological, and hematological disorders.

• Develop clinical guidelines for exercise prescription tailored to specific patient groups and disease categories.

• Perform clinical exercise assessments including cardiopulmonary exercise testing, with accurate interpretation and application of results.

• Design and prescribe individualized exercise programs and provide one-to-one exercise counselling.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and departmental standards.

• Collaborate with patients and families to formulate evidence-based exercise plans, ensuring understanding and encouraging active participation in care.

• Conduct ongoing outcome assessments, monitor progress, and adjust exercise prescriptions and goals as clinically indicated.

• Lead and coordinate discharge planning, ensuring smooth transition of care and appropriate follow-up where required.

• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to support high-quality patient care and effective communication.
