Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a qualified and detail‑oriented Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must hold a valid QCHP license and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical laboratory settings. The candidate should be experienced in handling laboratory equipment, conducting diagnostic tests, and ensuring accurate reporting in compliance with Qatar healthcare regulations.

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per physician requests.
• Collect, label, and process blood, urine, and other specimens.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in quality control procedures and internal audits.
• Report abnormal findings promptly to the concerned medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with QCHP and Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regulations.

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology or related field.
• Valid QCHP License (Mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital or clinical laboratory settings.
• Knowledge of hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Ability to work in shifts if required.

• Experience with automated laboratory systems.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality standards (ISO / CAP standards preferred).
• Strong computer skills and laboratory information systems (LIS) knowledge.
