SummaryThe Family Medicine – Ambulance Services Senior Consultant provides expert leadership and clinical oversight for pre‑hospital emergency care. This role ensures timely, high‑quality ambulance services and integrates advanced clinical protocols with operational excellence. The consultant works closely with paramedics, EMTs, hospital emergency departments, and leadership teams to enhance patient outcomes, staff training, and emergency response efficiency.

The American Board of Family Medicine - Canada:
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (FRCPC – Family Medicine) - UK and Ireland: CCT/CCST/CESR in Family Medicine and joined Family Medicine Specialty Register

Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP – Family Medicine) - Western Europe:
Equivalent certification to the above
- USA:
Experience in clinical and/or community settings, ideally with a certification in General Practice (Family Medicine).
License- Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
- Lead and oversee the clinical operations of ambulance services, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Develop, implement, and update clinical protocols and standard operating procedures for pre‑hospital care.
- Supervise, mentor, and train ambulance staff, including paramedics and emergency medical technicians.
- Coordinate with hospital emergency departments, critical care teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient transfer and care continuity.
- Monitor performance metrics, quality indicators, and compliance with national and international emergency care standards.
- Participate in strategic planning, policy development, and resource allocation for ambulance services.
- Oversee the integration of advanced technologies and equipment into pre‑hospital emergency care.
- Conduct audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to advance ambulance service outcomes.
- Serve as a clinical advisor for emergency preparedness, disaster response, and mass casualty incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and hospital policies.
