Head of Pharmacy
The Head of Pharmacy will lead and oversee pharmacy operations across all branch locations to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized pharmaceutical care throughout the Naseem Medical Centre.
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols, effective medication management, inventory control, and optimal resource utilization. The Head of Pharmacy will work closely with Branch Pharmacy Team Leads and collaborate with other department heads to support clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and organizational objectives.
The role holds full responsibility for implementing safe systems of work and professional practices across all pharmacy services within Naseem Healthcare in line with international healthcare standards and Qatar Government regulations. The Head of Pharmacy ensures adherence to national pharmacy regulations, healthcare laws, and corporate policies, maintains accurate records for audits, inspections, and reporting purposes, and monitors quality assurance initiatives and patient‑safety protocols in all branches.
All pharmacy branches must adhere to regulatory, safety, and ethical standards in medication management and pharmaceutical services. The Head of Pharmacy will identify opportunities for service enhancement and patient‑care improvement, develop and implement a centralized pharmacy training program to ensure all pharmacists and pharmacy staff receive standardized onboarding, regulatory compliance training, and continuous professional development. The position also serves as the central liaison between Pharmacy Services and other departments—Medical Services, Nursing, CPD, Operations, Customer Services, Finance, Diagnostics—to ensure safe, efficient, and coordinated medication management and patient care.
Qualifications- Valid MOPH Pharmacist License
- Valid QID (Qatar)
- Minimum 8+ years of pharmacy experience
