Optometrist – Doha, Qatar
We are searching for a qualified and experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses; diagnosing and managing ocular diseases; and performing vision tests. The position offers an excellent salary of 1700 QAR/month.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide eye care services such as prescribing eyeglasses, contact lenses, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases
- Perform vision tests using specialized equipment
- Review patient medical histories
- Monitor patients’ progress
- Explain procedures to patients and answer their questions
- Educate patients on how to properly use and care for their eyewear
- Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of patient visits and treatment plans
- Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or related field
- Licensed optometrist with minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of eye anatomy, physiology, optics, pharmacology, and vision physiology
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
