Paramedic Position – Doha, Qatar
We are looking for a Paramedic to join our team in Doha. This position requires a confident individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing high-quality medical care.
The successful candidate should be able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in emergency situations, as well as show empathy when providing treatments and services.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of human anatomy and the ability to recognize common medical conditions. He or she must also possess the ability to work independently, remain organized, adhere to safety protocols, and keep up with the latest medical advancements in order to provide quality care.
The successful candidate will be expected to assess patients' conditions on-site and provide necessary medical treatments based on their diagnosis. The Paramedic will also need to administer medications, evaluate patients’ vital signs, and record patient information accurately. In addition, he or she must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations by applying appropriate life‑saving techniques.
Requirements for the Candidate- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid paramedic certification from an accredited institute
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working with first responders/emergency personnel preferred but not required
- Ability to remain composed & professional during stressful situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients & colleagues
- Good physical stamina & strength; able to lift objects up to 100 lbs
- Basic computer skills for using electronic health records systems
