Job Summary

We are looking for a Caregiver to join our team in Doha. The role will involve providing care and support to elderly or disabled individuals in their own homes. The position offers a salary of 1200 and is open to both local and immigrant applicants with no prior experience necessary.

• Assess the health, emotional, physical and social needs of the patient or client.
• Develop, implement and review care plans for patients/clients according to their individual needs.
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and other daily activities.
• Monitor health condition by taking vital signs such as temperature and pulse rate.
• Assist with meals; either preparing them or ensuring that they are taken as prescribed by medical professionals.
• Provide companionship; conversing with the patient/client about their interests or life experiences.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed when caring for the patient/client in their home or when transporting them outside of it.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently is required.
• Previous experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided on the job.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships based on trust with patients/clients as well as family members or other carers is required.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations is essential.
