Summary

As an HSE Manager for a data center, you will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental initiatives within the data center facility to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures specific to a data center setting.
• Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage emergency response plans and drills to ensure preparedness for any incidents.
• Coordinate with external agencies and authorities for compliance with HSE regulations and certifications.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE best practices and procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and prepare reports with recommendations for preventive measures.
• Monitor and analyze HSE performance indicators and implement improvements where necessary.

• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards specific to data centers.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and management in a data center environment.
• Experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees in HSE practices.
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in crisis management and emergency response planning for data center operations.
• Skilled in utilizing HSE tools and software for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing data.
• Strong leadership abilities to drive a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within the team and organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an HSE Manager in a data center or similar high-risk environment.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to data center operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively train and motivate employees.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 would be advantageous.
