DOC Medical Center is seeking an experienced Insurance Officer Reconciliation responsible for managing insurance reconciliation activities, ensuring accurate matching of claims, payments, and rejections, and maintaining financial accuracy across insurance transactions. The role involves close coordination with insurance companies and internal finance teams to resolve discrepancies, optimize recovery, and ensure compliance with payer policies and healthcare regulations.

Qualification:
MBBS/BDS/B.Sc. Nursing/B. Pharm/Any allied healthcare qualification (Preferred) OR Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. - Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in medical insurance, billing, or revenue cycle with focus on reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs, denials, and payment reconciliation processes.
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification – Mandatory.
- Good understanding of Qatar healthcare insurance system and MoPH regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Experience with insurance systems and billing software preferred.
- Reconcile insurance claims, payments, and rejections with remittance advice and EOBs.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between billed amounts and insurance payments.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for clarification and resolution of unpaid or underpaid claims.
- Review denied and short‑paid claims and ensure proper follow‑up and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate reconciliation records and updated financial reports.
- Work closely with billing and finance teams to ensure revenue integrity.
- Support monthly closing activities and insurance receivables reconciliation.
- Analyze trends in payment variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with insurance contracts, payer policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare periodic reports on reconciliation status, outstanding balances, and recovery performance.
