Pharmacist in Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customers with the best possible healthcare advice and services. You will be required to ensure that all medications prescribed by doctors are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for monitoring drug interactions, evaluating the appropriateness of drug dosage and advising customers on general health matters.

• Dispense prescribed medications to customers accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Monitor drug interactions, evaluate the appropriateness of drug dosage and advise customers on general health matters.
• Ensure accurate record keeping of prescriptions dispensed and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with legal requirements.
• Interact with physicians to clarify prescriptions or provide information on medications used in treatment plans.
• Participate actively in medication utilization reviews as well as other quality‑assurance activities.
• Maintain updated knowledge about drugs, their composition and uses as well as current legislation regarding the supply of medicines to the public.
• Respond to customer inquiries or complaints politely and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
• Keep up-to-date with new drugs released into the market by attending seminars or reading relevant journals regularly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program is essential; postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Must have a valid license from the Qatar Ministry of Health that allows practice of pharmacy professionally in Qatar or must have passed the Qatar Prometric Exam successfully.
• At least two years’ experience working as a Pharmacist is essential.

• Knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous.
• Experience using industry‑standard software programs related to pharmacy management is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds is desirable.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
