Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative)

Danone MENA is seeking a talented Healthcare Nutrition Specialist to be based in Qatar. In the Specialized Nutrition MENA team you will drive and contribute to SN brand market share, build productive scientific-based HCP relationships, and ensure HCP satisfaction and loyalty by meeting their healthcare nutrition needs.

• Influence HCP attitude and behavior.
• Conduct periodic visits to hospitals, health clinics, and private clinics to establish strong scientific relationships and position our Healthcare Nutrition solutions as preferred choices.
• Ensure all doctors/HCP/KOL receive the right message, information, and clinical studies.
• Illustrate benefits of solutions to HCPs and conduct scientific audio/visual meetings.
• Identify business opportunities within the area, evaluate learning, and develop initiatives and tactics to realize potential.
• Implement a weekly call cycle in coordination with direct manager.
• Respond to competitive activities and recommend actions to counter‑act them.
• Maintain high product knowledge to explain information and answer questions.
• Follow up on customer queries/complaints.
• Review business plan and quarterly objectives.
• Compile and submit reports on promotional activities per established formats and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with WHO and local codes of ethics for infant formula products.
• Conduct seminars and nutrition education activities.
• Manage daily database entries and comply with administrative procedures.
• Achieve qualitative and quantitative KPIs on daily, monthly, and yearly bases.
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings to discuss market situation and KPIs.
• Assist in running seminars/events.
• Gather intelligence on the HCP universe and identify new contacts.
• Monitor competitor activities and report to management.
• Conduct medical detailing calls and maintain contact with identified HCP lists.
• Build strong relationships with targeted HCPs and map decision‑making networks.
• Carry out promotional activities with targeted HCPs.
• Update competitor intelligence and input into database.
• Record and report visits and progress against objectives.
• Attend internal meetings as required.

• BSc in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within pharmaceutical or nutrition industry, preferably engaging with pediatricians.
• Arabic native and English proficiency.
