Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Role Description The Licensed Clinical Psychologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. The clinician will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs. Daily responsibilities include administering and interpreting psychological tests, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and collaborating with other wellness practitioners to support integrated care. The role also involves providing psychoeducation, participating in case consultations, and contributing to the ongoing development of SEED’s holistic programs and services.

The psychologist is expected to uphold ethical standards of practice, demonstrate cultural competence, and support a safe, inclusive, and healing environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Psychology and Counseling Psychology.
• Candidates should possess skills in Psychological Testing, including assessment administration, scoring, and interpretation.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Mental Health care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention.
• Candidates should possess experience in Clinical Supervision, supporting and guiding other mental health professionals or trainees.
• Relevant advanced degree (PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or equivalent) and current licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches) and integrative care models.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, preferably with experience in international or multicultural settings.
• Strong communication, documentation, and case management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are an advantage.
