With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a seasoned Guest Service Agent with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Kimpton Doha.
Just a stone’s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel welcomes guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.
A little taste of your day-to-day- Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes
- Acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phone
- Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
- Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
- Staying one step ahead of our guests’s needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
- Being our guests’ trusted contact – helping with everything from bill issues to restaurant recommendations
- Communication skills – guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’re easy to talk to
- Problem‑solving skills that turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
- Fluency in the local language – extra language skills are a plus, but not essential
- Literate and tech‑savvy – you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
