Role SummaryThe HR & Immigration Specialist is responsible for handling HR operations and managing all immigration and visa-related processes for employees in Qatar. This includes onboarding, documentation, work permits, residency visas, renewals, cancellations, and ensuring compliance with Qatar Labor Laws, QFC, and mainland regulations. The role requires strong coordination, communication skills, and experience working with Qatar's government portals.
Key Responsibilities- HR Operations
- Manage onboarding and documentation for new joiners.
- Maintain accurate employee files as per Qatar labour requirements.
- Coordinate HR processes with internal teams and leadership.
- Immigration & Visa Management
- Handle work permits, residency visas, renewals, transfers, and cancellations.
- Manage QFC and mainland visa procedures.
- Work with government portals such as MOI, Hukoomi, ADLSA, and QFC.
- Ensure timely and smooth processing of all immigration activities.
- Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Laws, QFC, Free Zone, and immigration regulations.
- Monitor regulatory updates and implement required changes.
- Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with senior stakeholders and government representatives.
- Provide updates and guidance to internal teams and clients on visa and labour processes.
- Advisory & Support
- Act as the subject matter expert for HR and immigration in Qatar.
- Advise clients and internal teams on compliance requirements.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep knowledge of Qatar Labour Laws, QFC, Free Zone, and immigration procedures.
- Proficiency with MOI, Hukoomi, ADLSA, and QFC portals.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in HR operations and immigration processes in Qatar.
- Experience with QFC, Free Zones, and mainland procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Fluency in English;
Arabic proficiency is an added advantage.
