Senior Organizational Design Specialist

The Senior Organizational Design Specialist is responsible for reviewing and improving the organization’s structure, roles, processes, and workforce requirements. The role works closely with HR and business leaders to ensure the organization has the right structure, people, and processes to achieve its business objectives.
The position also supports organizational restructuring, manpower planning, job evaluation, job descriptions, HR policies, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyse organizational structures, departments, roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines.
- Develop and maintain organizational charts and manpower plans.
- Support organizational restructuring and workforce optimization initiatives.
- Analyse jobs and develop or update job descriptions.
- Conduct job evaluations using Hay, Mercer, or other recognized methodologies.
- Review roles, grades, responsibilities, and reporting relationships to ensure consistency.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, resource utilization, and organizational efficiency.
- Work with HR and business managers to identify workforce and organizational requirements.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and process documentation.
- Conduct interviews and workshops with employees and managers to understand organizational and workforce needs.
- Analyse workforce data and prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.
- Support organizational development, change management, and business improvement initiatives.
- Provide advice to managers and senior management on organizational structure, roles, and workforce requirements.
- Work with HRIS/ERP teams to ensure organizational and employee data is accurate.
- Use SAP/HRIS systems to support organizational structure and workforce reporting.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Monitor the results of organizational initiatives and recommend further improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Management, or a related field.
- Professional HR or organizational development certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of overall work experience
. - Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in organizational design, organizational development, HR, workforce planning, or a related field.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
