About the job:
Senior Linux Platform Engineer
- Strong hands‑on experience with RHEL administration, patching, hardening, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in Shell scripting (Bash) and automation tools (Ansible preferred).
- Knowledge of system services, logs, storage, networking, firewall (firewalld/iptables).
- VMware administration (vCenter, ESXi, HA/DRS, resource management).
- Exposure to Open Shift or Kubernetes cluster operations.
- Understanding of pods, deployments, operators, and container runtimes.
- Familiarity with environments supporting Base
24‑eps, particularly Linux‑based components that integrate with payment switches and EFT systems. - 5+ years of experience in Linux/VM/cloud infrastructure roles.
- Experience in banking, payments, or financial technology is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, VMware VCP, CKA/CKAD are added advantages.
