Overview

- Lead end-to-end management of IT infrastructure projects, from initial scoping and budgeting to execution, testing, and handover.
- Develop project plans, timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocations in alignment with organisational goals.
- Oversee upgrades, migrations, and implementations related to networks, data centres, hardware, cloud platforms, and security systems.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Identify project risks and apply mitigation strategies while maintaining business continuity.
- Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and prepare status reports for leadership.
- Manage project documentation, including requirements, technical specifications, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support change management activities and facilitate user readiness during transitions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects within medium to large organisations.
- Proven experience in network, server, storage, cloud, and cybersecurity environments.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and service management processes (ITIL certification preferred).
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise-level infrastructure environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), network security, data centre operations, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ability to analyse complex technical issues and translate them into business-friendly language.
- Vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
- Excellent planning, budgeting, and financial tracking capabilities.
- Strong leadership and team-coordination abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Adaptable, resilient, and committed to continuous improvement.
