CCTV Supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise daily operations of CCTV technicians, ensuring all installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities are completed on time and in compliance with project specifications.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of IP/analog CCTV systems, VMS platforms, servers, storage units, and network devices.
• Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, ensuring all systems remain fully operational.
• Ensure all work is executed in accordance with GCC authority standards (Qatar MOI-SSD, UAE SIRA, KSA HCIS, Bahrain SSAIP, Oman ROP).
• Review system designs, layouts, BOQs, and site readiness to verify alignment with client requirements and project scope.
• Supervise and guide technicians during cable pulling, camera mounting, device termination, configuration, and field testing.
• Manage and upscale technical issues related to VMS (Genetec, Milestone, Honeywell, Avigilon, Bosch, Hikvision, etc.) and network integration.
• Conduct periodic system audits, health checks, and performance monitoring to ensure continuous surveillance coverage.
• Maintain documentation including daily activity reports, maintenance logs, incident reports, and system handover files.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and approved method statements.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting support for VMS, connectivity issues, storage failures, and camera downtime.
• Coordinate with IT/network teams, security departments, and HSE teams for system upgrades, access permissions, and network changes.
• Conduct training and mentoring sessions for junior technicians on advanced systems, tools, and installation best practices.
• Ensure availability of tools, materials, and spare parts; raise requests as needed to avoid work delays.
• Lead response during system alerts, alarms, and emergency situations, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
